Athletics Division

Our Mission

The Happy Camper Foundation Athletics Division is a youth-led nonprofit dedicated to breaking financial barriers in youth sports. We believe every child deserves the chance to play, grow, and belong- regardless of income. Through community support, fundraising, and partnerships, we provide proper resources so all kids can access the joy and life skills that come from sports.

Some Comments

“To whom it may concern, my sons are playing this season with PBG Predators. We were awarded a scholarship this season to help pay for the tuition for both boys through The Happy Camper Foundation - Athletics Division. This scholarship has been a major help for our family and for our boys to continue in their soccer journey. Our family unfortunately fell into hard times in the last couple of years due to major medical needs for my wife (which has put a heavy financial strain on the family). Without the help of this scholarship, the boys would not be able to participate in travel soccer, which is their and the family’s biggest passion. Soccer is very important in our household; we look forward to watching them play every weekend. It’s like our only getaway. We are truly grateful for the help that was given to us. The boys don’t take the opportunity for granted either. They play hard and train even harder as they are aware that opportunities like this don’t present themselves often. They are very dedicated to their team and to the club. Again, I cannot reiterate enough how much this scholarship has helped us out and how grateful we are for selecting my boys to receive this help. This has been a tremendous blessing to our family. I want to sincerely thank the Happy Camper Foundation for believing in [our boys] and giving them the opportunity to continue doing what they love most!........
P.S. the Predator Club (Coaches and Families) have been amazing. We love being part of this club. Everyone has been so welcoming. We have been in a couple of clubs before here but this is the first time where the boys have been treated with so much respect and felt like important pieces to the teams success. ”

“Thank you so much to The Happy Camper Foundation - Athletics Division for helping us fulfil our desire to play soccer. Both boys play at a high level and the costs associated can build which puts a strain on our family which is already under a lot of stress for other reasons. The Happy Camper Foundation scholarship allowed the boys to play and follow their passion during the tough times and we will be forever grateful for that..........."”

"The Happy Camper Foundation Athletics Division has allowed two families with multiple children to have all siblings participate in our soccer program at the highest level. Each of the four players the scholarship has helped is an integral part to their team and our club as a result and we are thankful to have them. This naturally means our club is extremely thankful to the charity as the funds they provided ensured the participation of these families who have become a huge part of our program. The rising costs of living and everyday life puts enough of a burden on families and often sports or extracurriculars are one of the first sacrifices that have to be made. The Happy Camper Foundation's help has allowed four players to keep playing and fulfilling their passions in these times. Well done and thank you!!"
